The Problem
The client had built an early MVP on a no-code platform that buckled under load during peak hours. They needed a production-grade system built to handle spikes - without degrading the sub-second product search experience that defined their user promise.
Our Approach
We re-architected the platform on a microservices foundation with an ElasticSearch-powered product catalog, a Redis-backed inventory cache, and an order management system designed for burst capacity. The frontend was rebuilt as a Next.js SSR application with edge caching.
Results
Peak load capacity increased 12x. Product search latency dropped from 1.8s to 120ms. Platform handled the first Diwali sale without a single outage.
